The
admission for various courses is through screening
test as well as directly on the basis of percentage
of marks secured in the class X / XII examination.
A student who has secured above 85% aggregate in
Science and Maths in class X is exempted from the
screening test for the two year Integrated Two
Course for Medical / IIT JEE course.
The admission to the One Year Regular Medical / IIT
JEE course is through screening test as well as
directly on the basis of percentage of marks secured
in the class XIIth board examination . Those
students having 80% and above in PCB/PCM in class
XIIth can enroll directly in this course.
All the students who have qualified CBSE Prelim exam
can take direct admission in the one Year Regular
Medical course irrespective of their percentage in
the board exam.
Apart
from the direct admission criterion, the institute
also offers admission through its admission test or
screening test to those students who do not have
the required percentage for direct admission.
The objective is to offer an equal opportunity to
deserving students. The screening or admission test
is different for different courses.
Following are the screening test patterns for
different student categories :
1. Course for X Passed / XI
Studying Student : (Integrated Two Year
Medical/ IIT- JEE Course)
a. 90 minutes test.
b. 75 objective questions on Physics,Chemistry
& Biology/Mathematics of class X.
c. 1/3rd negative marking.
2. Course for XI Passed /
XII Studying Students : (XII Cum Medical/
IIT -JEE Course)
a. 90 minutes test.
b. 100 objective questions on Physics, Chemistry &
Biology/ Mathematics of class XI.
c. 1/3rd negative marking.
3. Course for XII Passed
Students : (Regular Medical Course/ IIT -JEE
Course)
a. 90 minutes test.
b. 100 objective questions on Physics, Chemistry &
Biology/ Mathematics of class XI.
c. 1/3rd negative marking.
